Coco Crisp has made the most of part time play lately and can provide a short term shot in the arm.

The sparks are starting to fly, as we get closer to the major league playoffs; however, many fantasy owners are in the thick of it now. With that, I give you five players that may be available free agents that could make a last minute impact on your roster.
CF Nate McLouth, PIT ~ Extremely hot at the plate right now, McClouth has added six stolen bases this past week, hit .476 during that same time period (Week 23) and hit a homerun. McLouth has also driven in six and crossed the plate eight times himself.
RF Michael Bourn, HOU ~ As Michael Bourn works his way back into the line-up, he continues to demonstrate his prowess on the base paths, snatching three stolen bases in the past seven days. Do not look for more than that from him, but in single-elimination fantasy playoffs, it may be just what you need.
OF Rajai Davis, OAK ~ He may have not panned out for San Francisco earlier in the year, or even Oakland for the better part of a season, but in the last seven days, Davis has become a star. Davis has hit .386, stolen three bases, hit a triple, and a homerun. He may not make it to your 2009 roster, but he just may help you get out of the semi-finals and into the big game.
OF Josh Anderson, ATL ~ Some good news out of Atlanta in 2008? Anderson has been excellent since the call-up in late August. With two stolen bases in seven days, a homerun, four runs, and two runs batted in, Anderson will take his .285 average with him to the off-season and hopefully have an impact in 2009. NL-Only Keeper Alert!
CF Coco Crisp, BOS ~ A name that was a perennial stolen base discussion topic, Crisp has been upstaged by his younger counterpart, Jacoby Ellsbury. Well, Crisp has shown him up in limited play this past week, hitting an impressive .562 with two stolen bases. Crisp is not a long-term solution but even McGyver was willing to look for open resources to get him out of a jam.
