13. Greg Zaun Toronto Blue Jays
Unless Toronto
either signs or trades for a catcher, Zaun will have the inside track at the
starting gig in 2007. The 13-year veteran worked as Bengie Molina's backup last
season, but he ended up getting starts as the Blue Jays DH after a productive stretch at the plate. Zaun is a left over on draft day outside of AL-only leagues and he hits for average and provides decent pop as a No. 2 catcher.

14. John Buck Kansas City RoyalsBuck's numbers were virtually a repeat of his 2005
production; .242 AVG, 12 HRs,and 42
RBIs. He's only 26, so he's still young
enough to develop into the .275-22-73 hitter he was in high Class A ball. However, Buck's free-swinging ways (48 K's in
192 ABs) almost guarantee that achieving those numbers would be a long shot .
Expect a slight step up in 2007, but no major breakthroughs.
