41.
Kenny Rogers - Detroit Tigers (41 years old)

"Kenny, what's that brown crap on your thumb?" So Rogers doctors the ball?  Fantasy owners don't care as long as he keeps his ratios down and his wins up.  That's all Rogers is good for now at the age of 42, but if you understand that going in and build your staff accordingly, he can definitely turn a profit for you.

42. Paul Byrd – Cleveland Indians (35 years old)

Byrd has typically been a control guy who gives up few free passes.  The trouble is that he doesn’t strike many out either.  Last season Byrd gave up more hits than ever before in his career, including a second straight season allowing more than 20 homeruns.  At 35 years old, that's not a sign of good things to come.

43. Miguel Batista - Seattle Mariners (36 years old)

Batista is a very versatile pitcher, capable as a quality starter and in the pen (as evidenced by his 31 saves for Toronto in 2005). He has good control, strikes out a decent amount of batters, and is typically good for about 200 innings. He won't win a title for you, but his consistency can keep you from losing one.

44. Robinson Tejada - Texas Rangers (25 years old)

Tejeda finished strong for the Rangers last season once he was recalled from the minors, and as of now, looks to have a rotation spot.  He has a history of being a solid strikeout pitcher, and is young enough to think that he may have turned a corner last year. I don't like the park he pitches in, but he could be a cheap sleeper if you find yourself in need of some depth with upside.
