Wilson will see time at both first base
and in the outfield. Depending on how young Scott Thorman hits against lefties,
Wilson may eventually be in a platoon role at first base. Wilson has power and could be good for 20-25
homers with 500 or more at bats. The
problem is, it's unlikely he will see 500 plate appearances if Thorman is effective against the league's southpaws.
