45. Jamie Moyer – Philadelphia Phillies (44 years old)Moyer is an old man who doesn’t walk anybody, doesn’t strike anybody out, but gives up a ton of hits and homeruns. In a good year he can win 17 games and post an ERA in the mid threes. In a bad year he can win only seven while posting an ERA over five. There is absolutely no way to tell which you’re going to get, but I will tell you this, his last real good year was 2003.

46. Rodrigo Lopez – Colorado Rockies (31 years old)After seemingly figuring it out in 2004, Lopez has regressed each season since, culminating in a 18 loss season last year. He doesn’t walk all that many batters, but he's simply too hittable, giving up 11 hits a game in 2006 including 32 home runs. There’s no good reason to expect those trends to suddenly reverse themselves with a move to Coors Field.

47. Woody Williams – Houston Astros (41 years old)Williams has shown that he can still be relatively effective when healthy, but that time is coming to an end. There’s no good reason to expect anything but mediocrity with his move to Houston for the 2007 season. He’s simply become too hittable with age. Pass on Woody.
