As always, you can never inherently bank on a player to
perform a particular way simply because his history has shown a particular
trend. That said, this data combined with other factors, including their 2007 performance,
can be used to make educated decisions that could be instrumental to a fantasy
baseball championship come October. Of those on the list, who would I recommend
targeting? For various reasons, I like the following:
Jason Bay
Adrian Beltre
Carlos Beltran
Travis Hafner
Adam LaRoche
Few of these will be had cheaply, but there is no problem
giving up some future gains in the form of prospects or cheaper talent for the
