Interleague Alert!

Remember that Week 7 ends with many teams playing their first three interleague games.

The following National League teams are playing in American League parks, and will make use of a DH - Mets, Nationals, Astros, Brewers, Dodgers, and Padres

The following American League teams are playing in National League parks, and will not be able to use their normal DH – Rays, Blue Jays, White Sox, Indians, Tigers, Royals, Twins, and Athletics

Ballpark Factors and Favorable Matchups

The following teams play their games in parks that favor either hitters or pitchers, or are playing against “soft” teams.

The Phillies play six games at home, Citizens Bank Park, a hitter’s haven.

The Nationals play seven games on the road.

The Cubs play seven games in the friendly confines of Wrigley Field, a hitter’s park

The Reds play seven games at home, The Great American Ballpark, a hitter’s park.

The Astros play seven games on the road against the Giants and Rangers

The Cardinals play six of seven at home against the Pirates and Rays

The Diamondbacks play six games at home, a hitter’s park

The following teams play against teams that allow more stolen bases than most others. Have your base stealers from the following teams active:

Cubs, Mets, Nationals, Cardinals, Diamondbacks, Twins, A’s, Rays, Phillies, Angels, and Giants
