The Aussie has got game...

Andrew
Bogut - The Aussie has got game like Jesus Shuttlesworth. While he is
not a premiere center with a big name, anyone who scans the box scores
in the morning paper has to have taken notice of Bogut's performances
as of late. In his last five games, Bogut is dropping 15 PPG and 12.4
RPG - including many offensive rebounds! He also is giving you 1.2
blocks. The field-goal percentage isn't as nice as other big men, but
he has his moments. Take Thursday night, when he shot 11-of-16 from the
field and scored 22 points.
Luis Scola - Every since Yao went
down, Scola has stepped in and taken on some of the offensive
responsibilities for the Rockets. He's averaging just 8.9 PPG for the
year, but in his last three games he bumped that stat up to 15.3. His
rebounding has suffered a bit, but the scoring is there - and at such a
high percentage (77-percent over his last three). The rebounds will
come as he gets used to his new role, fixed in thee starting lineup.
This guy is set to take off.
Larry Hughes - Hughes has been
revitalized, for the time being, in Chicago. He looks good in white and
red and has been playing very well in his new city. For the year he
scores just 12.7 per, but so far in Chicago he's up around 18 each
night. The field-goal percentage needs to improve a bit, but as long as
Hughes is feeling good and happy, he should continue to score 15+. He
even graced the starting lineup for the first time on Friday night...
more to come? I think so.
Sit 'EmMarcus Williams - Each day it's getting more difficult to give positive advice for Williams. There is no doubt about it; he is a very good player. But first he was spelling Jason Kidd and now Devin Harris is taking over the point guard position in New Jersey. Harris was spectacular in his Nets debut Thursday night. And while Williams got the start, and played 30 minutes to Harris' 21, his minutes are marked. Harris scored a team-high 21 points in his limited minutes Thursday, while Williams had 11 on just 3-of-11 shooting.
Sam Cassell - Why shouldn't you start him? Maybe because the veteran guard is no longer on an active roster? That's right: the Los Angeles Clippers waived the 38-year-old veteran Friday. Cassell was bought out by the Clippers and is said to receive about $850,000 of the $1.7 million he had remaining on his contract for the season. It would appear that Cassell is all set to join the Boston Celtics now, after a 48-hour period when he clears waivers. He'll be a big help in Beantown, but until he gets going in green, he's worthless this week, so sit 'em!
Andrei Kirilenko - AK-47 ain't firing no more. The Russian averaged just 7.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists in his last five games for the Jazz. In those games, he's shooting just 38-percent, about 11-percent lower than his season average. His minutes are dropping too, as he's gone from more than 33 minutes the first month of the season to just 28 these last five games.
