Eric Gibbs is a lifelong Boston sports fan currently residing on the south side of Chicago.  In his spare time he likes to dabble in fantasy sports, particularly baseball and football.  He greatly enjoys digging up those hidden gems that will help your teams.  He survives in Chicago by mentioning "it will be the Cubs and the Red Sox this year in the World Series".

East Coast Bias - Apr. 11, 2009

Kevin Garnett is expected back before the regular season ends (but barely).

Atlanta Hawks

Flip Murray is gaining more and more floor time in Coach Woodson’s three-guard line-up.  Murray has truly shined this year when prior hoop experts projected A.C. Law to have the big year.

Boston Celtics

Kevin Garnett will be back in the line-up at least two games before the season ends.  Leon Powe is also scheduled to make an appearance.

Charlotte Bobcats

Raymond Felton has averaged 19 ppg the past two weeks which is big considering MJ having him on the trading block earlier in the season.

Chicago Bulls

John Salmons continues to impress.  The confident playoff-bound Bulls have averaged an additional four points a game since Salmons was inserted into the starting five.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Ben Wallace went 3 for 4 seven points and six boards in his return from a broken leg.   Wallace is a legit plug and play for rebound support.

Detroit Pistons

Will Bynum  has cooled his jets a bit after a five-game explosion.  Detroit will be an interesting team in the playoffs.  They still have veteran quality that can get the job done.  I’m not going to sleep on them like everybody else has.

Indiana Pacers

Roy Hibbert is a name to throw out there for plug and play.  Hibbert went for 17 points and seven boards in his last game.

Miami Heat

Michael Beasley will receive more playing time since Jamario Moon and Udonis Haslem have been injured.

Milwaukee Bucks

Charlie Bell game has taken a major setback this year in his game.  Do not look for him in any type of fantasy league.

New Jersey Nets

Vince Carter was told to shut it down recently.  Chris Douglas-Roberts is expected to lift a heavier load.  Expect the same scenario for Devin Harris.

New York Knicks

Continue to roll with Nate Robinson and Development league stud Courtney Sims who saw some playing time recently.

Orlando Magic

Michael Pietrus is on again and off again this season.  He’s only played in 50 games this season and is a very risky play next week.

Philadelphia 76ers

Andre Miller is averaging 17.8 ppg and 8.2 over the last 6 games.

Toronto Raptors

Chris Bosh has to be considered for second-team All NBA this year.  He’s been a monster down the stretch.

Washington Wizards

Brendan Haywood is a nice and sneaky plug and play for the upcoming week.
