The Madwoman has her eye on rookie WR Jacoby Jones. That either makes him a sleeper or a very lucky man.

The so called offseason is OVER!!
It’s time to let the Vick thing go. It’s time to letthe Pacman thing go. It’s time to let the Henry, Harrison, Tank things go. It’s time for FOOTBALL!!
Yes, while I am still stunned as to what my beloved Wolverines did last Saturday, I am putting that behind me also because it has nothing to do with how my Fantasy Football Teams are doing. I’ll just say that they deserve everything that comes to them.
I am no prognosticator (as evidenced by my betting the last few years at the casino) so I am not even going to attempt to tell you who will win or lose. However, I will throw a sleeper or two at you.
In Houston, Matt Schaub isn’t the sleeper. He’s got about the biggest spotlight in Texas on him! Look at Jacoby Jones. Here’s another rookie that could produce. Teams will be concentrating on Andre Johnson so the youngster could be in store for some quality games. He will have a few stinkers as well but I think the quality will outweigh the smell!
Brandon Jackson has won the starting gig in Green Bay but will be sharing the workload with Vernand Morency. Statistically, this will provide him a slow start but it will also most likely save him from hitting that proverbial “rookie wall”. Look for him to pick it up later in the season if you can hold off that long.
Chicago has Cedric Benson starting in lieu of the departed Thomas Jones. No, Benson isn’t my sleeper pick. It’s that guy hanging out behind him. For some reason, the “other” Adrian Peterson has caught my eye.
I don’t think that Benson will make it through the year. Also, keep an eye on Brian Griese. While Rex has the support of the team right now, he may not once he throws a few of those stinker games out there. Keep an ear out in Chicagoland. You may unearth two bonifide sleepers if the house of cards starts to fall.
Maurice Stovall has done nothing so far in his NFL career and now he is the WR2 in Tampa Bay.
Does that mean that he will be in store for a great year? That depends on how the Bucs protect Jeff Garcia. Stovall is one of those guys who aren’t on a lot of fantasy rosters right now but could find his way there shortly. Stay tuned on this guy.
The New York Football Giants have Burress, Toomer and Shockey for Eli to throw towards. What I think is going to happen there is that the “other” Steve Smith is going to pass up Toomer and make a name for himself. It will not happen until later in the year but he could be a good pick up for the playoff run.
In dynasty leagues, Toomer will not be there next year and Mr. Smith could provide you with something special.
Are you interested in dynamic leagues? Then why aren’t you in HAFA, HOPE or HEAT? There are teams looking for help in those leagues and once you’ve tried one, you’ll never look at the game the same again!! They are very challenging and you get to compete with some of the best fantasy footballers out there today! Step up to the challenge and let the site know you are interested. You will not regret it.
Well, that’s it for this time so, until next time, it’s time for this one to Ramble On!! See Ya!!
