Jets place LB Larry Izzo on IR
FANTASY INSIGHT:
The Jets placed linebacker and special-teams ace Larry Izzo on injured reserve Thursday with a neck injury.
Coach Rex Ryan said Izzo thought he was getting stingers in his neck, but it turned out to be more severe. Ryan said Izzo saw a spine specialist and had several tests done to determine the nature of the injury. (AP)

Jets Sign Izzo
FANTASY INSIGHT:
The New York Jets signed special teams standout Larry Izzo, a free agent from the New England Patriots.
Izzo spent eight seasons with the Patriots. He has reached the Pro Bowl three times as a special-teamer, twice during his New England tenure. (Washington Post)
