In our Draft Day kit, we listed a few players that fantasorians should avoid due to their proclivity for injury.  Let’s check in on these players to see if they have missed any time or have bucked the trend and remained healthy.

PJ Axelsson-BOS: Axelsson is quite fragile and has missed an average of 20 games a season due to injury prior to this season.  Thus far, Axelsson has only missed 7 games due to a bruised foot.

Darcy Tucker-TOR: Prior to this season, Tucker had not played a full season in 5 years.  That has spilled over to this season where Tucker has missed a total of 8 games with shoulder and knee problems.

Nik Antropov-TOR: In the past 7 years, Antropov had never played a full season.  He has remained injury free this season and is playing well, suspension not withstanding.

Jozef Stumpel-FLA: Over the past few seasons, Stumpel has missed time due to a variety of injuries.  This season, he has missed 8 games with a shoulder injury.

Erik Cole-CAR: Cole plays with such reckless abandon that he misses time each season due to injury.  This season is no exception as Cole has missed 8 games with a leg injury.

Carlo Colaiacovo-TOR: As injury prone as they come, Colaiacovo has missed a total of 46 games this season as he was out twice with a knee injury.

Roman Hamrlik-MTL: Hamrlik has played a full season only once in the past six years but he has stayed healthy this season for the Habs.

Matt Pettinger-WSH: Pettinger has missed a total of 40 games the past three seasons but has only missed 4 this season for the Capitals.

Andy Sutton-NYI: Prior to this season, Sutton has averaged only 58 games played per season over the past five years.  He has held up well thus far, only missing two games.
