There are a few directions the Dolphins could
go with this pick. The defensive line is getting older and adding youth is a
must. Louisville’s
Amobi Okoye is available and the Dolphins will consider him. Losing Wes
Welker could mean that Ted Ginn, Jr. is a possibility as well. But with the
secondary lacking a quality starting cornerback, the Dolphins decide to draft
Michigan’s Leon
Hall.

Acquiring Matt Schaub probably
means the end of the David Carr era in Houston.
The Texans lost out on the opportunity to select LaRon Landry with this
trade, but they will address another area of concern – the offensive line.
The Texans didn’t protect Carr very much during his time in Houston, and the selection of Penn State’s
OT Levi Brown gives Schaub the
protection Carr never had.

The Niners are thankful that Louisville’s defensive tackle Amobi Okoye is left on the board. Alan
Branch was an option for San
Francisco, but with the Redskins choosing Branch
over Okoye, that leaves the Niners with an easy decision. Okoye is the new San Francisco treat.
