Parting ways with Willis McGahee leaves a huge
hole in the Buffalo
backfield. Luckily for the Bills, no one in the top-11 needed a running back,
which allowed for Oklahoma’s
Adrian Peterson to fall into their
lap. With Peterson in Buffalo,
the Bills have a running game to build around for years to come.

The Rams can score touchdowns with the best of
them, but they can also allow more than they score. Last year, the Rams
selected Tye Hill with their first round pick, and he was a major contributor
this past season. St. Louis
may add to their secondary with this selection, but with Ole Miss linebacker Patrick Willis available, he’s the
obvious choice.

The Panthers are known for having a quality
defense every year, but injuries seem to always pull them down. Adding help
in the secondary and at linebacker will help the defense, but providing
protection on the offensive line is a greater need. Penn State’s
Levi Brown is the selection, and
he gives the Panthers a formidable tackle tandem with Jordan Gross already on
board.

The release of Joey Porter sent shock waves
through the Pittsburgh
fan base. Finding a suitable replacement to produce the numbers Porter posted
each year will be difficult. There are plenty of quality linebackers on the
board, but adding a defensive back will help the defense tremendously. Pitt’s
Darrelle Revis proved his critics
wrong during his pro-day and will now star for the Steelers.
