The Dolphins have some major concerns on
offense. Is Daunte Culpepper going to be healthy? Who replaces Wes Welker?
Can Ronnie Brown continue his progression without a lot of help up front? Miami will answer at
least one of those questions with the selection of Penn State’s
tackle, Levi Brown.

Missing out on drafting Landry,
a safety that could have helped the Texans defense for many years, will allow
Houston to
look at another area on defense – the defensive line. Adding a big tackle
like Alan Branch will take pressure off of the linebackers and help
the defensive line. Branch is a welcomed addition.

The Niners may look to upgrade their offense
with this pick and reach for a receiver at this selection, but it’s a little
high to draft Ted Ginn or Robert Meachem. If the Niners stay at this
position, they will add defensive help. With talk of switching to a 3-4
defense, the Niners will add a versatile lineman who can play both tackle and
end. Nebraska’s Adam Carriker fits the bill.

Trading down turned out to be a good thing for
the Vikings as they have their choice between a top cornerback (Leon Hall)
and a top defensive end (Jamaal Anderson). With Fred Smoot leaving for
Washington, the Vikings need to add a starter to their secondary. Although
Anderson is intriguing, Hall is the pick.
