With Adalius Thomas going to New England via
free agency, the Ravens have to find a replacement. This draft is full of
talented linebackers with big impact ability and knowing that, the Ravens
will wait to address Thomas’ replacement. Baltimore needs to improve their offensive
line and with Central Michigan’s versatile
tackle Joe Staley available; he
is the perfect pick for the Ravens.

The Chargers need to add a receiver to their
offense and give Phillip Rivers a deep threat, but with the draft deep at
receiver, the Chargers will wait until the second round for a receiver.
Adding a safety to the secondary is a big need and with Miami’s Brandon
Meriweather available, the Chargers draft the talented Hurricane.

It’s obvious that Rex Grossman is still a work
in progress, and there are some serious doubts that he will become a quality
quarterback. One way to find out is to give him some protection, and Auburn’s
Ben Grubbs is as technically sound
as any lineman in the draft.

The Colts lost Cato June to the Buccaneers via
free agency and will look to add a linebacker in the draft. Purdue’s Anthony
Spencer is a versatile linebacker that can play outside linebacker or
lineup as a defensive end. Spencer was a very productive player at Purdue and
gives the Colts options on defense.
