Denver has depth issues along
their defensive line and adding a young pass rusher to their defense is
important. The Broncos may look to add a safety with this pick as well. But
the intrigue of Florida’s
Jarvis Moss is too great to pass
up and the Broncos have their pass rusher.

The Cowboys have a lot of concerns to address
on their team: the offensive line,
wide receiver, and the secondary. Adding a cornerback is something the
Cowboys may do at this pick, but this draft is very deep with defensive
backs, so that can wait. Adding a receiver to the offense, especially with
Terrell Owens and Terry Glenn in
their thirties, seems to be the right choice. USC’s Dwayne Jarrett is
the pick.

The Chiefs need a receiver. It’s obvious to
everyone that they lack a big-play threat on the outside. The Chiefs have the
best tight end in the league in Tony Gonzalez, and he provides a big target
to over the middle, but adding a receiver that stretches the field will help
out the K.C. offense. Tennessee’s
Robert Meachem is the selection.

The New England Patriots signed the top
linebacker on the free agent market this off-season, Baltimore’s Adalius Thomas, and adding a
linebacker isn’t a top priority. Head coach Bill Belichick likes aggressive
players with playmaking ability, and the Patriots need help in the secondary.
Florida’s Reggie Nelson is a huge addition and
adds versatility. |
