With Adalius Thomas going to New
England via free agency, the Ravens have to find a replacement.
This draft is full of talented linebackers with big impact ability and
knowing that, the Ravens will wait to address Thomas’ replacement. Baltimore needs to improve their offensive line and with
Central Michigan’s versatile tackle Joe
Staley available; he is the
perfect pick for the Ravens.

The Chargers need to add a receiver to their
offense and give Phillip Rivers a deep threat, but with the draft deep at
receiver, the Chargers will wait until the second round for a receiver.
Adding a safety to the secondary is a big need and with Texas’ Michael Griffin available, the Chargers draft the former
Longhorn.

The Bears need offensive line help to protect
Rex Grossman and give Cedric Benson room to run. They also have to address
the Lance Briggs situation and whether or not he will be a Bear this coming
season. Losing a Pro Bowl linebacker would leave a huge hole in the Bears’
defense, and adding a suitable replacement is necessary. Miami’s Jon Beason is a nice fit.

The Colts lost Cato June to the Buccaneers via
free agency and will look to add a linebacker in the draft. Purdue’s Anthony
Spencer is a versatile linebacker that can play outside linebacker or
lineup as a defensive end. Spencer was a very productive player at Purdue and
gives the Colts options on defense.
