INSIGHT: Anthony Osborne, better known as "Tough" Tony Borne passed away at his home this morning at the age of 84. He is the father of the original Doink the Clown, Matt Borne.
The Milwaukie, Oregon resident had been in poor health as of late and passed away just as his son was leaving home to board a flight to Dallas, Texas.
Borne most notably wrestled in the 1950s and 1960s for promoter Don Owen's Pacific Northwest territory. Alongside Lonnie Mayne, the pair held the Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship eleven times. Borne was also a nine-time Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Champion.

INSIGHT: Jake "The Snake" Roberts, 55, announced his retirement from active wrestling Sunday night at an independent show in New York, ending a 35-year career.
During an in-ring speech, the inventor of the DDT discussed the loss of his father, Grizzly Smith, who passed away in June. He said he entered the wrestling industry to make him proud.
Roberts thanked the fans and said he could no longer compete due to health reasons.

INSIGHT: TNA star Kevin Nash has confirmed that his friend Scott Hall is back in a substance abuse rehabilitation facility.
Nash wrote on Twitter.com/RealKevinNash:
“Scott is under care in the WWE’s wellness program. God bless Ann and Vince for taking care of my friend.”
There had been some confusion lately as to whether Scott Hall had been hospitalized or was in rehab after statements were issued by independent wrestling promoters claiming both scenarios.

INSIGHT: Jim Wehba, who performed for over 40 years as as General Skandor Akbar, passed away Thursday at the age of 75.
His cause of death is currently unknown, though he had been suffering from prostate cancer in recent years.
As General Skandor Akbar, which translates as "Alexander the Great," Wehba played the role of an Arabian backed by oil money. He notably led villainous wrestlers in Bill Watts's Universal Wrestling Federation during the promotion's heyday in the 1980s, as well as other regional territories, including World Class Championship Wrestling and the Global Wrestling Federation.

INSIGHT: According to Geena Jinev Anac of Lightening Entertainment, Scott Hall has been hospitalized due to complications from pneumonia. Scott Hall was hospitalized for double pneumonia, which had affected both lungs, back in July: "Recovery for Scott has been very slow process, he was trying to get better and was looking forward to his appearances on the East Coast this weekend! We wish him quick recovery, he is in our thoughts & prayers!"
