TNA Interested In Ultimate Warrior?
INSIGHT:
Last night on Impact, an interview with Sting was conducted and he talked about he first broke into the professional wrestling. Ultimate Warrior's name was brought up during the interview as Sting noted that they broke into the business together as a tag team. Regarding possible interest in the Ultimate Warrior, TNA officials are indeed interested in his services. TNA has directed some inquires towards Warrior, however, we have no idea as to where things stand between the two parties. (Wrestling Observer)

NWA 2008 Hall of Fame Press Release
INSIGHT:
Besides great pro wrestling matches planned for the June 7th card, the National Wrestling Alliance® is pleased to announce a special attraction to the NWA™ 60th Anniversary Philips Arena event; the induction of the 2008 Class of the NWA™ Hall of Fame.
The NWA™ started it's "Hall" in 2005 in Nashville, TN inducting Lou Thesz, Harley Race, Sam Mushnich, Jim Barnett, Gordon Solie and Jim Cornette. The next Class was announced during a private gathering on October 13, 2006 in Las Vegas, NV that included Eddie Graham, Dory Funk, Jr., Lelani Kai, The Rock-n-Roll Express, Lance Russell and Saul Wringeroff.
The organization elected not to have a "Hall" induction in 2007 due to the planning and staging of larger arena events and the international expansion of the NWA™ brand. In the coming weeks Officials will announce the names of the 2008 honoree's. NWA™ Hall of Famer James E. Cornette will host the ceremony.

TNA iMPACT Results - May 15, 2008
INSIGHT:
During an in-ring interview, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe announced he would be defending the gold in the annual “King Of The Mountain” match at the Slammiversary PPV. Qualifying matches will take place on “iMPACT!” to determine who will challenge Joe for the championship at the epic event.
- Thus far, we know that TNA Management Director Jim Cornette has selected the following names to take part in the qualifying: Robert Roode, James Storm, Matt Morgan and Tomko. Samoa Joe will pick an additional four names next Thursday night!
- Speaking of the King Of The Mountain qualifying �" Booker T threatened Samoa Joe to pick him as one of the four names �" or else! The showdown resulted in that night’s main event where Joe teamed with Rhino and Christian Cage to face Team 3D and Booker T. Joe won the bout for his team after beating Brother Devon. Following the bout, Team 3D brutally attacked the LAX’s Hector Guerrero and left him a bloody mess to end the broadcast!
- Speaking of the new TNA World Tag Team Champions LAX, they defeated The Motor City Machineguns on Thursday’s broadcast.
- The team of “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal, “The Guru” Sonjay Dutt and Kaz defeated The Rock N’ Rave Infection and Johnny Devine, but the big news came after the bout as Jay Lethal popped the big question and asked SoCal Val to marry him! Val agreed �" and the two TNA superstars will walk the aisle at the Slammiversary Pay-Per-View to tie the knot as man and wife!
- On the other hand, it was Kurt Angle who was trying to put his marriage back together on Thursday’s broadcast. Kurt came to the ring and read a letter he had written to his wife Karen, asking her to come back home. Kurt asked Karen to be in attendance on next Thursday’s “iMPACT!” to give him an answer.
- In the TNA Women’s Title match, it was Awesome Kong beating Gail Kim after Angelina Love of “The Beautiful People” interfered. As a result of the interference, Gail injured her knee and required assistance to leave the ring!
- Later on the broadcast, “The Beautiful People” of Angelina Love and Velvet Sky defeated the team of ODB and Roxxi.
- A video of Abyss aired on the broadcast, as well as a special sitdown interview with the icon Sting. (TNAwrestling.com)

INSIGHT:
TNA officials are hopeful that former WWE star Bobby Lashley signs with them because they see him as another big name with star power. Kurt Angle and Booker T have been doing their best to recruit him for the company. Most sources believe that it's only a matter of time before Lashley joins TNA. Lashley has also had some discussions with the NWE promotion (the promotion Ultimate Warrior is returning to) and Mexico's AAA promotion. (WrestleZone.com)

Ultimate Warrior Upset With Batista
INSIGHT:
Ultimate Warrior said on recent radio show that he wasn't happy with Batista stealing his shaking the ropes gimmick, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Batista noted in his book that copied the mannerism from Warrior. Warrior also said that if Batista ever saw him, his "tattoo would jump off his back." Warrior was also on a Dallas area radio show with a gay host, and he claimed that he was misquoted regarding his past statements on homosexuals.

Kurt Angle Injury Update
INSIGHT:
Despite Kurt Angle's neck injury, TNA still has plans for Angle to wrestle AJ Styles at Slammiversary next month. Although, there are some people within the company who are concerned with this. They believe that Angle will try to gut his way through the match even if he's not healthy enough. They are hoping that management will look out in his best interests, even if he is not willing to. INSIGHT:
In case you missed it on Monday, Candice Michelle was inserted in place of Torrie Wilson in "The World Is Watching" promo that airs before Raw & SmackDown broadcasts. When Trish Stratus left the company in the fall of 2006, WWE replaced Stratus with Torrie in the promo. (WrestleZone.com)
