Kerry began following NASCAR for many reasons, and not all of them
involve Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Like the drivers she watches from
February to November, she also enjoys watching her speedometer reach
its upper limits. As no one pays to watch her do this, she pays the
bills by doing "boring writing" that has been published in several
places, none of which anyone really cares about. Her commitment to
NASCAR might be called into question if it were made known that,
despite geographic proximity to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, she
has never attended a race.
